Island Based Artist Residency

The Island Based Artist Residency is an independent international residency dedicated to bringing together emerging and established artists from around the world for a period of focused creative practice, cultural exchange, and meaningful collaboration.

Set within an island environment, the residency is designed as a space where artists can step away from the demands of everyday life and immerse themselves in reflection, experimentation, and artistic growth. Through shared studios, conversations, workshops, excursions, and engagement with the local cultural landscape, participants are encouraged to expand their practice while building lasting relationships with fellow creatives.

More than a place to produce new work, the residency fosters dialogue across disciplines, cultures, and perspectives. It supports artists in developing new ideas, exchanging knowledge, and becoming part of an international creative network that extends beyond the residency itself.

Our programme welcomes painters, sculptors, photographers, installation artists, digital artists, printmakers, mixed-media practitioners, and other visual artists who are committed to exploration, innovation, and community.
